- Essential Qualification: Doctoral degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Fisheries/Community Science/Horticulture/Sericulture with 8 years of experience.
2. Subject Matter Specialist

- Pay: Rs. 56,100/- (Level 10, 7th Pay, ICAR norms)
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture/Community Science/Fisheries Science from a recognized university.
3. Farm Manager (T4)

- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Fishery Science/Horticulture/Sericulture from a recognized university.

- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology or equivalent.
6. Assistant

- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 5 years of experience in Accounts and Establishment.
7. Stenographer Grade-III

- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with computer proficiency and shorthand dictation skills.
8. Driver (T1)
- No. of posts: 01
- Pay: Rs. 21,700/- (Level 3, 7th Pay, ICAR norms)
- Essential Qualification: HSLC pass with a valid heavy and light vehicle driving license and two years of driving experience.
9. Supporting Staff – Grade – I
- No. of posts: 02
- Pay: Rs. 18,000/- (Level 3, 7th Pay, ICAR norms)
- Essential Qualification: Matriculation or ITI pass.
Age Limit
- Senior Scientist-cum-Head: Maximum 47 years as of 01/01/2024 (no upper age limit for AAU in-service candidates).
- Subject Matter Specialist, Programme Assistant, Farm Manager: Maximum 38 years as of 01/01/2024.
- Assistant, Stenographer Grade-III, Driver, Supporting Staff: Maximum 40 years as of 01/01/2024.
- Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per Assam Government norms.

- General/OBC: Rs. 1,000/-
- SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 500/-
- Payment must be made online. Candidates can pay the fee by 7th January 2025 (4 PM) if technical issues occur during the last date.
